Загрози конвенційної війни між КНР та Тайванем

Тайванська протока залишається одним із найбільш вибухонебезпечних вогнищ напруженості у сучасному світі. Стратегічне значення острова визначається поєднанням геополітичних, економічних та технологічних чинників: Тайвань виробляє понад 60 % світових напівпровідників та близько 90 % найбільш передових чіпів, що робить його ключовим елементом глобальних ланцюжків постачання [5, с. 1]. Водночас КНР розглядає острів як невід’ємну частину своєї суверенної території і відкрито не заперечує застосування сили для його «возз’єднання». Метою цього дослідження є аналіз основних загроз конвенційної війни між Китайською Народною Республікою та Тайванем та оцінка їх наслідків для регіональної й глобальної безпеки.
